Foundry work is quite different from assembly work. I’ve got expereince at both. Foundry is WAAAAY more dangerous. You guys deserve every penny. Assembly for the most part, not so much, and that is why so many robots are used on the line now.

True, my dad has worked for GM for 35 years (and counting) and has worked at the Powertrain in Parma Ohio, GM Assembly in OKC, and now Powertrain in Defiance and seeing people act like Auto Union workers have it easy as hell and don’t work hard really pisses me off....
I had a son six weeks ago and my mom has come out to see him probably four times.. My dad? Once when he was born because he works all the time.. Literally, all the time. The whole, Union Autoworkers are lazy/entitled is complete and utter bullshit.
